Today is Shrove Tuesday, which in Kerri's world, means it is Pancake Day. She is having pancakes for lunch at school today.
We eat pancakes plain. Sometimes we may put maple syrup on them. Kerri, on the other hand, has us put chocolate chips into the batter before we make hers. She eats them just like that.
Life with Kerri wants to know how do you eat your pancakes? Butter, maple syrup, plain, or...?

Fresh squeezed lemon juice and caster sugar but I mean crepes when I say pancakes cos in England pancakes, as in Pancake day means crepes.
So are you eating little round American pancakes or crepes
Kerri had the crepes. Canada may have American cars and imports, but it is a very British country. I am slowly picking up the customs!
We love pancakes with real Maine maple syrup! Sometimes we add blueberries too! Yummy!

I like pancakes with Canadian or Vermont maple syrup. Of course, I absolutely adore crepes with fresh strawberries & a touch of powdered sugar.
Either way, I am having a craving right now.
