For Kerri ~ Grandma Felisa

From the moment she met you...
Grandma loved you.

You made her laugh...
and made her smile.
And she was there for your first birthday...
and your second birthday...

and you were there for her birthday too.

She taught you how to play cards and "poker"...
and how to draw and write.
And she loved your Pookie too.

She was there for your third birthday...

and we visited her as often as we could.

Your grandparents love you very much.

You were thrilled when she sent you a scarf or a bear...or two!

And the holidays were special times.
Your Bobe will always watch over you.
And you carry her Hebrew name in her honor.

We will always remember the last time we saw Grandma...just last month.
And Grandma always said you were special to her.
Never forget that.

Viviann & Family,

I am so-o-o sorry to learn the news about your sweet Mama. How blessed Kerri is to have known her. Both of my parents passed away years ago (I can't believe it has been that long) and never knew my children except for my oldest. However, your Mama lives on in youy and Kerri through those precious memories in your hearts, so she is always there. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

Teri (and all):
First of all, thank you. We all appreciate your kind words and prayers.

My Mom is still with us. She is in Hospice, and in the end/final stage of her illness. My understanding is that they keep her as comfortable and pain free as possible, and her life is now in G-d's hands. I pray she goes peacefully and does not suffer.

The reason I did this post now was because I probably would not be able to do it later, and I wanted Kerri to have this for the future.

My apologies for the confusion,
~Vivian

Viv, what a beautiful tribute to your mom for Kerri to hold close to her heart at she grows. She and you will both have something beautiful to remember visually the wonderful times that you all had together. I pray these final days, however many there may be, are peaceful and pain free for your mom. And that you are able to heal yourself enough to do what is necessary for travel. This was a wonderful part of your coping with what is in front of you, and dealing with the pain and sorrow. You know I will suggest that you take all the prints and make a Bobe scrapbook that both of you can sit and turn the pages to as you re-tell these wonderful stories to Kerri over and over again. She will treasure it forever. {{{{{HUGS!!}}}}}}
